were demonstrated. She worked in partnership with Dr. Cecilia Amotsuka,
founder of Save Our Future Foundation (SOFF) and Dr. A. Omigbodun, Head
of Ob/Gyn Department , University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria Dr.
Amotsuka facilitated community awareness and availability of screening
for cervical cancer for women within the participating sites.
The department of Family Medicine continues to support this international
partnership through an interdisciplinary healthcare team that will travel
to Nigeria twice a year to conduct training workshops and screening programs
for women in the area.
