Dr. Shannon D. Pittman

After receiving her undergraduate degree from Tougaloo College, Dr. Pittman attended the University Of Mississippi School Of Medicine for medical training and remained there to complete her residency in Family Medicine. She served as Chief Resident from 2004-2005 and was award the George Lally Bevill Memorial Fellowship in Family Medicine.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, the American Medical Association, and the Mississippi Academy of Family Medicine. Dr. Pittman completed a faculty development fellowship in Waco, TX in April of 2006. She is currently an Assistant Professor and Residency Director in the department.
