The UMC Fund for Family Medicine

ANNUAL GIVING IS ESSENTIAL TO FAMILY MEDICINE PROGRAMS AT UMMC

This is an exciting time to be a part of the University of Mississippi Medical Center. The Medical Center continues to provide excellence in education to our future health professionals, cutting edge technology, and state of the art patient care. The Department of Family Medicine continues to excel in offering its students and residents quality education and training them to serve as our future family practitioners to the state and beyond. Alumni support is essential for the Medical Center and the Department to maintain its position of excellence in this ever-changing environment. Through the Department of Family Medicine Fund, we raise monies to meet the needs of the Department and its students. Gifts to the Department of Family Medicine Fund are used to enhance student and resident programs while strengthening clinical training. Contributions are also used for student and resident awards, student and resident educational travel, acquisition/replacement of educational equipment and other education-related programs.

A gift of any amount is appreciated and needed. The Guardian Society is our premier support group for the School of Medicine and provides the foundation of support necessary to maintain our position of excellence. We hope that you will consider joining this premier group and support the very essence of our educational programs at UMMC. Medical membership is a tax-deductible gift of $500 annually over ten years. Above all, you have the opportunity to show your appreciation and dedication to the School and its students through your support.
